By signing up for or purchasing or booking any of our products and services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions apply to any product or service you get for free or you pay for from us.

Free or Paid products are, include, but are not limited to, for example, online courses and workshops, online 1-to-1 mentoring, in-person workshops or courses, and online communities.

If you sign up for, subscribe to or join or buy any products or services on our websites (ceciliacarelse.com and www.noveldreamersdo.com), you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

You also agree to any specific Terms and Conditions which apply to certain products or services, for example, booking and paying for a 1-to-1 novel mentoring session. Any product-specific or service-specific terms and conditions will be listed below.

You acknowledge that any activities undertaken in relation to any product or service that you use are at your own risk.

 

Over 18 years old

By signing up for our email Newsletter, promotions, free products, paid products, or services, you confirm that you are an adult (18 years old and over).

We aim to keep our platforms and products family-friendly. It is your responsibility to ensure the content is suitable for sharing with children.

 

Our Privacy Policy

Your privacy and how your personal data is handled are important to us.

Any personal data that you provide to us will be dealt with in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This policy explains what personal information we collect from you, how and why we collect, store, use, and share such information, your rights in relation to your personal information, and how to contact us and supervisory authorities if you have a query or complaint about the use of your personal information.

Ordering Products or Services from us

Any order placed on this website implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

When you purchase or place an order for a product or service with us, a legally binding contract between you and us is made.

Our online checkout process may be:

An order form on Systeme.io (www.noveldreamersdo.com) with secure payment by Stripe.

A booking form on TidyCal with secure payment by Stripe.

In the online checkout process, you enter your details and click on the Button with ‘Complete Your Order’, ‘Buy Now’, ‘Book Event’, ‘Get it now’, or similar words that indicate your order will be processed when the button is clicked on.

You will receive an email confirming your order or booking. At this point, a legally binding contract is in place between you and us.

If you have signed up for a payment plan, you must complete all payments to retain access to your product or service. Your payment method will be kept on file and retried in the event of payment failure. If the payment cannot be completed, we shall revoke access to your purchase and shall not refund any prior payments.

 

No refund policy

The online courses or workshops we offer are regarded as digital products or digital content because of how they are accessed and available online.

They will also include access to a teacher/trainer after their purchase, either directly with a free one-off 1-to-1 booking with a teacher/trainer and/or via a limited time in an online community with access to the teacher/trainer.

With regard to the nature of digital products or digital content, once you have placed your order, you do not have any right to cancel this contract.

We do not, under any circumstances, offer refunds for a “change of mind” or “change of circumstance” and ask you to carefully consider your purchase and contact us with any questions before purchasing.

Refunds are not offered unless the product sales page for your purchase explicitly states this is the case.

 

In view of our clear no-refund policy, we do not accept any type of chargeback threat or actual chargeback from your credit or debit card company.  In the event that a chargeback is placed on a purchase or we receive a chargeback threat during or after your purchase, or after the end of the cooling off period if you are a consumer, we reserve the right to report the incident to credit reporting agencies or to any other entity for inclusion in any chargeback database or for listing as non-payment on your account which could have a negative impact on your credit rating.

 

Delivery of your purchase

If your product is an online course, we will send you details of how to access it.

If your product is an online workshop, we will send you the workshop details with how to attend online.

If the product is an in-person course or workshop, we will send you an email with all the details on how to attend in-person.

If the product is to be delivered in instalments, we shall supply the content as specified in the product description.

If something happens that is outside of our control (tech issues) or affects the estimated delivery date, we will let you have a revised estimated delivery date for the products.

Unless you and we agree otherwise, if we cannot deliver your products within 30 days or services when they were due, we will let you know, cancel your order, and give you a refund.

 

The Price

The price of the products are indicated in euros all taxes included (at the rate of Ireland VAT). The price of items can be changed at any time. However, the price applied to an order will be that announced at the time of the order.

 

Payment for your purchases

We accept payment by Stripe (and Apply Pay on Systeme.io order forms).

We will do all that we reasonably can to ensure that all of the information you give us when paying for the products is secure by using an encrypted secure payment mechanism through the company Stripe. However, in the absence of negligence on our part, for any failure by us to comply with this contract or our Privacy Policy or breach by us of our duties under applicable laws we will not be legally responsible to you for any loss that you may suffer if a third party gains unauthorised access to any information that you give us.

 

Nature of the products and services

We warrant that the products will be free from material defects in design, be of satisfactory quality, and be fit for any purpose we state.

When using our products, you acknowledge that deciding how to handle any issues which may arise, the choices you make in relation to them and whether or not you follow through on any recommended action is exclusively your responsibility. For this reason, although we fully expect great results to come from your use of our products, we cannot guarantee any specific outcomes or that all customers/clients will achieve the same results. The results are entirely dependent on your commitment and the effort you put in to following the recommended course of action.

We reserve the right to make revisions or corrections to our products, modify, or discontinue products at any time without prior notice.

 

Faulty products

While we strive for accuracy in our digital content or products, we acknowledge that errors may occur.

If the product we supply is faulty, please inform us within 7 days of purchase using the contact details given in this document. We shall, at our discretion, repair or replace the product, or refund the price of the product.

 

End of the contract

Even if you chose to end this contract, it will not affect our right to receive any money which you owe to us under this contract.

 

Online courses or workshops

Our online courses (or workshops) may include the following types of digital content:

When a purchase is made, you will receive an email giving you access to the product, for example, the online course.

As soon as you receive access to a product, no refunds can be given as the digital content is instantly available.

Note: this is like unwrapping a physical product, for example a video DVD or music CD – you cannot return the video once the seal or plastic wrapping has been removed. The implication being that the digital content has been accessed.

 

Online 1-to-1 mentoring

Schedule is subject to availability.

Booking is only secure upon payment, unless the booking has been offered by us for free to you in writing, for example, a tutor check-in with a student.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the information provided is accurate, for example, your email address.

Bookings are non-refundable unless cancelled by us.

Bookings do not include editorial work on your writing.

 

For online 1-to-1 mentoring packages:

Aim to schedule your first session within 1 month of purchase with remaining sessions booked evenly within the remaining time allocated to the package.

The period of the package may be extended by request but is subject to availability.

It is your responsibility to book the sessions included in your package.

 

In-person courses or workshops

At our discretion, if you cannot attend an in-person course or workshop, we may allow you to attend a future course or event.

At our discretion, we may give you access to an equivalent online course or online community to support your novel writing journey.

 

Usage of all products and services

All products and services are for personal use only. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, or modify any product, or any part of a product and its materials, without the express written permission of Cecilia Carelse.
